Purpose of electrodes Е6013
Electrodes with a diameter of 3.0 mm are used for manual arc welding of structures made of carbon steel grades, fillet, butt and overlap welds structures made of metal with a thickness of 1-5 mm in the following spatial positions of welding:
- bottom; - vertical;
- ceiling;
- vertical "top-down".
The main area of use is the installation of gas and pipeline systems.
In particular, these are public utility, ship and machine pipelines.
• products are used in welding thin-walled structures no more than 5 mm thick, designed for low pressure of working media (up to 12 atmospheres);
• perfectly weld ordinary and butt joints;
• have proven themselves well when working with partially defective metal (oxidized surfaces of steel parts, oxide film on aluminum).
Welding electrodes Е6013 have a rutile coating (titanium dioxide). Due to the high durability of the rutile coating, the weld pool is reliably protected from slag. For high-quality welding, a lower content of magnesium and silicon is required, which makes the gases and welding aerosols formed as a result of the reaction with "deoxidizers" less toxic.
- low toxicity of the material;
- the ease of the first, repeated, multiple ignition, even without contact between the rod and the surface of the part;
- resistance of the seam to the appearance of pores when changing the length of the arc;
- the possibility of welding in any position without exception, including vertical from top to bottom;
- low rates of spraying;
- creation of an even fine-flaked seam;
- work with damp, primed surfaces and metals with traces of corrosion; - used for industrial and household work;
- equally suitable for professional welders and beginners;
- work can be carried out with alternating (using a transformer) or direct current of different polarity (using an inverter).
